Kmart is sponsoring bloggers who have tried and love the Why Not Lease It option of payment for their new program! The following is my true feelings on this new way to pay!
Kmart has always been a family favorite for over 50 years. It has been, and has stayed, the most affordable place to go for clothing, kids items, home furnishings, electronics and much more; even when other stores seem to have sky rocketed their prices. Well, now Kmart is getting even MORE affordable and budget friendly with their "Lease It" program.
What is their "Lease It" program? I'm going to give you a great example from personal experience. August 2013 we moved to a brand new house and because we had been at our old house for all my life, some of our furniture couldn't fit through the doorway of our old place. I'm a single mom of two girls who is also supporting a disabled mother, and the cost of moving was already way above my budget. I couldn't afford to buy completely new furniture. One day I was at Kmart with my mom and saw a sign that said "Why Not Least It, no credit required." And it really aroused my interest. I did some quick research while I was in Kmart and found out that the program is a credit check free way of leasing or owning big tag items for a very affordable monthly price! I was able to get a brand new kitchen table, 32 in TV, dresser and night stand for the kids room and I only pay a very low monthly payment per month. The best part is, all you need is a job and a photo ID to know that you're approved!
This is a great option especially at this time of year when so many things can happen! What if your refrigerator or oven stops working and you're expecting a large amount of people over the Holiday season? You're already spending enough on presents, Holiday food and your normal bills. Who can afford an unexpected expense? This is exactly why this program is a program that's extremely helpful for those looking to save some money.
What's amazing is that you can lease brand-new items including trusted, quality brands such as Kenmore and Craftsman across a wide variety of departments, including:
- Home electronics
- Appliances
- Household goods
- Furniture
- Sporting goods
- Lawn and garden
- Outdoor living
You can even buy more than one item (up to the amount that you are allowed) and still only pay one low monthly payment. The minimum amount that you can lease is just $150!
You have to lease the item for five months, after that it's your choice! You can purchase the item or return it. Of you want to buy out your lease earlier than the five months, you do have options. The Early Purchase Option allows customers to buy the item in 30, 60, or 90 days for a modest premium over the original purchase price.
Since we are at the end of our contract now, we are considering utilizing the program again in the near future. This time we are planning on purchasing a new BBQ grill, patio set, a larger TV for our living room and possibly a dish washer. We love the program and will continue to use it as long as Kmart works with Why Not Lease It!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kmart. These are my opinions and my opinions only. Please note that I have actually taken advantage of the Why Not Lease It program last year and truly believe it is a great option.
