SAVINGS: My second Target haul!!

Staten Island is 5 minutes over the bridge from me, but Target in Staten Island is approximately 25 minutes away.  Unfortunately, I have to take the expressway to get there, so I don't do it often.  I used to go to the Target closer to me until yesterday's escapade.  I ended up going on the expressway to the other Target today and had a MUCH more pleasant experience.  I was not harrassed or degraded because of my coupon usage.  The young cashier actually was very kind and asked me how I save so much with coupons.  A lot nicer than yesterday!  I've found that people in Staten Island are always much more friendly.

Radio Shack trade in program...

Let me start off by saying this: I think this is a great program. Especially for us. My mom has this complete paranoia to throwing out ANY old computer. She is always afraid that someone will take it and get information off of it. That said, we had SO many old computers stored in our basement. Now that we're moving and need to get rid of it, the Radio Shack trade in program is a blessing!

I took a ride to the store today with some old cell phones, the computers, laptops, etc... ONLY to find out that trade in for computers & laptops is ONLY ONLINE. They do not trade in computers and laptops in the stores. However, for my old cell phones and digital cameras that were in various state of working, I got $67. Not bad for some phones that didn't work, some digital cameras that didn't work, etc...

When I got home I gave Radio Shack a call and they asked me the information about the computers and laptops I had, and told me that they were going to e-mail me prepaid shipping labels and after they checked out the items, they'd send me a gift card for $1,500. I think that's great, honestly. A lot of the laptops were from work anyway, so I didn't have to pay for them in the first place. I can use the $1,500 gift card too. I definitely need a new digital camera and a charger for my good Canon Rebel. I'll still have some left over too. :) Hey, I can't complain. (Except the fact that I have to bring them to Fed Ex. Any volunteers to help? lol)

Radio Shack Trade In Program - Check it out if you have any laptops, desktops, digital cameras, gaming systems, games, etc... that you aren't using. :)
